Emília Cunha is an excellent cook and a delightful hostess. Here she is preparing a roast in the outdoor oven at our home in Caldas, and these are the desserts.

She has recently remodelled an old house - actually a dance hall - in Peral (Algarve, near São Brás de Alportel) where she holds even more lavish parties!
